Six Years of Giving Back: Billy J Proudly Supports Wishlist Spring Carnival
At Billy J, we believe in more than just creating clothes that make women feel confident. We believe in supporting the women, families and communities around us — and that means showing up for the causes that matter.
That’s why we’re incredibly proud to be supporting Wishlist Spring Carnival for the sixth year running.
What started as a partnership close to our hearts has grown into something we look forward to every year. Wishlist Spring Carnival brings the Sunshine Coast and Gympie community together for an incredible day of fashion, celebration and, most importantly, giving back to local healthcare.
And, of course, no Wishlist Spring Carnival would be complete without a little Billy J fashion.
Bringing Fashion to the Wishlist Spring Carnival Runway
Each year, Billy J has the pleasure of bringing our signature style to the Wishlist Spring Carnival runway, showcasing some of our favourite looks for Sunshine Coast event fashion.
It’s one of our favourite opportunities to celebrate fashion, confidence and the incredible women in our community — all while raising awareness for an even bigger cause.
This year’s runway was particularly special, featuring the incredible Ellia Leocata alongside talented models from Chic Model Management. Together, they brought the Billy J collection to life, showcasing the kind of statement styles, feminine silhouettes and effortless glamour that make dressing for a special occasion so much fun.
From standout dresses to elevated event wear, the runway was a celebration of fashion, Sunshine Coast style and dressing with confidence.
But while the fashion is always a highlight, the reason we’re there is so much bigger.
More Than Fashion: Making a Difference
This year, the Sunshine Coast and Gympie community came together in an incredible way, raising more than $415,000 for Wishlist.
We couldn’t be prouder to have played a small part in helping make that possible.
As the Sunshine Coast and Gympie’s local hospital charity, Wishlist puts every dollar raised towards improving healthcare across the region’s five public hospitals. The funds raised at this year’s Spring Carnival will help provide vital, life-changing and life-saving medical equipment to support women’s health, including the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer and endometriosis.
One of the key pieces of equipment on the Wishlist is the Sentimag surgical guidance system, which will be shared between Sunshine Coast University Hospital and Gympie Hospital. Using magnetic fields to help locate tumours and lymph nodes, the technology will allow surgeons to work with greater precision and, where possible, remove less breast tissue for patients undergoing breast cancer treatment.
Funds will also go towards Myosure and hysteroscope equipment, helping local medical teams diagnose and treat endometriosis through minimally invasive procedures that can mean shorter surgery times, fewer complications and faster recovery for women.
Knowing that a day filled with fashion, community spirit and generosity can help bring this kind of technology and care closer to home is something truly special.

From the runway to the incredible atmosphere throughout the event, Wishlist Spring Carnival is a celebration of community, connection and making a meaningful difference. It brings local businesses, families and supporters together with a shared goal — helping create better healthcare outcomes for people in our region.
